Administrative Assistant - Accounting

What You’ll Do (Your Impact):

  • Own the Process: Process vendor invoices, employee expenses, payments, and receivables in
    our automated payment and billables system.
  • Build Relationships: Act as a key contact for vendor inquiries and internal departments.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure high level of accuracy in coding and general ledger distribution.
  • Modernize Workflows: Help identify opportunities to streamline our payment and receivable
    processes; assist the Public Works Department in modernizing reporting, purchasing, and
    compliance.

What You Bring:

  •  1 to 3 years of experience. A high school diploma is required and an associate’s degree in a
    related field is preferred.
  • A desire to serve the community, help others, and to learn and grow your skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in accounting and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Competitive salary ($19.82 to $25.86 per hour, based on experience).
